Douglass Colony Group is proud to have contributed to the sustainability and energy efficiency of 30PRL, a beautifully designed affordable apartment community in Boulder Junction. Newly developed in 2021, 30PRL is a 120-unit residential complex offering studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. Residents enjoy convenient access to shopping, restaurants, regional transit, public spaces, and miles of Boulder’s iconic bike paths. As part of the development’s commitment to sustainability, Douglass Colony was selected to install a high-performance solar energy system to reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
In 2023, Douglass Colony completed an 11,818-square-foot solar installation featuring Sunlight solar panels, seamlessly integrating renewable energy into the community. This solar system helps lower electricity expenses for residents while supporting Boulder’s green building initiatives. By providing clean, renewable energy, the project enhances affordability and long-term sustainability for the development.
